Public School NYC designers Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne have brought their impeccable taste in style to the garden, the crafty duo payed homage to their beloved New York Knicks with a capsule collection constructed under their secondary line “Black Apple.” The set officially dropped February 28th, and features limited edition t-shirts, hats, and hoodies all sold exclusively at Madison Square Garden. The guys partnered with the New York Knicks on their current NY Made campaign to make this collection all possible.
As a die-hard Knicks fan, I could definitely see myself at a home game sporting one of these pieces. Check out some of the capsule below.
I love hearing from my readers! Marc wrote,
Hello …Quick question do you know what shirt Chad Johnson is rockin here?

Hey Marc, Thanks for bringing this shirt to my attention. It’s awesome, I love the multicolor print. It adds flair to a classic spread collar shirt. Chad is wearing a $255 PS by Paul Smith Veolia poplin print shirt. This piece is from Paul Smith’s latest Spring/Summer 2014 collection.
L.A. Dodgers star Matt Kemp shared a photo on his Instagram account yesterday wearing a fresh varsity jacket by The Brooklyn Circus. The jacket features a classic silhouette, layered by a rich red hue. This Brooklyn based brand is well-known for their outerwear motifs. Are you a fan of the look?

Ever since I interviewed the NBAs Houston Rocket forward Chandler Parsons at last years ESPYs, I knew he was an up-and-coming name in the NBA as well as the style game.
I’ll never forget his grey suit and yellow floral shirt ensemble and how he told me he was “big on rompers these days” when I asked him what his favorite style trend to see on a girl was. He was a great interview and fashlete nonetheless, which made me extremely happy to find out today he was the new face of Stance’s Fusion Basketball line of socks.
This is a big deal for Chandler Parsons, and I have a feeling this is just the beginning. Chandler’s agent Dan Frank told FORBES “there was a serious interest from a ton of NBA players in partnering with Stance and Chandler ultimately was their choice.”
This isn’t the first time Chandler has been the face of a fashion line. You might of seen him on Buffalo David Bitton ads recently (below). He’s pictured with model Ashley Sky for their spring 2014 line.
Back to Stance though – the NBA baller will be showcasing Stance’s new Fusion Line of socks – 18 months in the making, and the company’s latest baby. These new socks contain “Trinity Technology” which pretty much means they’re the best looking and functional b-ball playing socks ever.
Congrats Chandler! Or should I say the NBA’s Tim Tebow? He’s marketable, fashionable, and Christian -he wears a wristband that reads “In Jesus Name I Play.”
Can’t wait to see you grace the cover of GQ or Esquire one of these days.

“Man I need to get those Red Octobers” that’s what L.A. Lakers swingman Nick “Swaggy P” Young told me when I interviewed him for Complex Sneakers. The Nike Air Yeezy II “Red October” are on sneakerheads wish list. As you may know, Nike dropped the highly-anticipated shoe with an unexpected announcement on their Twitter account last month, and they sold out in a matter of 11 minutes.
Swaggy P is one of the few athletes yet to get a pair, his peers have been flaunting their “Red Octobers” on Instagram—personally sent to them courtesy of Nike. The luxury of being a professional athlete. For us non-athletes, we can take from our savings and purchase a pair from a reseller for about a G.
Spotted on the scene for the illustrious 2014 Vanity Fair Oscar Party Sunday evening was L.A. Clippers general Chris Paul. The NBA star attended the a-list celebration with his stunning wife Jada by his side. Chris dressed to the nines, clothed in a flawless marine tuxedo by Ermenegildo Zegna. Are you a fan of his look??
Three-time NBA All-Star Russell Westbrook is known for more than his patterned threads and bright framed glasses. The Oklahoma City Thunder Point Guard most recently added brand ambassador to his growing list of accomplishments and for none other than Zenith Watches, the first industrial watch manufacturer in history.
Westbrook remains a competitive asset, on and off the court, and was selected by Zenith Watches for “his commitment to excellence, skilled technique, and innovative style.” Russell noted that he was “excited and honored to be a part of a brand with such a rich history and immense creativity.” He added, “in so many ways, the brand’s ideals and my passions overlap, making this a great partnership.”
The latest campaign features Westbrook in two slim-cut suits and highlights two signature timepieces for Zenith, the legendary El Primero Chronomaster 1969 in Steel and the Pilot Type 20 Annual Calendar in Rose Gold & Titanium.

LeBron James wore a black mask in last week’s (Heat) win over the Knicks to cover his broken nose…and it got more headlines than the actual game: “LeBron James returns to the floor as Batman.” He was also compared to the likes of Bane, Hannibal, and Lecter.
But what about Black Mamba? I mean come on Bron Bron, congrats for all the publicity, but this sports fashionista has to shush everyone up and say “that is SO Kobe Bryant circa Lakers vs. Pistons March 2012.”
Lebrons mask is pretty bad- ass though, while Kobe’s resembles more of something Zorro would wear. Any who, this begs the question: Who wore the black mask better? Kobe Bryant or Lebron James?

NBA star Dwyane Wade was spotted hopping out of his car looking cool and comfortable. D-Wade sported a pair of $265 Grungy Gentleman x Cotton Citizen oxblood quilted accent sweatpants with a graphic Kanye West t-shirt which read “Don’t talk about style.” Are you a fan of the look??
Dwyane Wade shared this photo on his Instagram account with a caption which read “If I could, I would wear designer sweat pants every day…you can dress it up or down”
Rib cuff sweatpants are trendy right now, I’ve posted other options below at various prices.
