That was the messaged preached at Public School’s recent fashion show here in NYC.
The NYC-based brand displayed their Spring/Summer 2017 menswear and women’s resort collection this past Tuesday at Cedar Lake.
With Men’s Fashion Week set for next month, Public School elected to showcase their work a few weeks ahead of their peers.
Their edgy collection was inspired by revolution, with a mission to make a political statement. “The rise of leaders, who shouldn’t be leaders,” said co-designers Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne (according to Hypebeast.)
Among attendees were star Athletes Dwyane Wade, Victor Cruz, and Victor Oladipo, who were all decked in pieces by the Public School brand. Public School has built a strong relationship with professional athletes over the years, they’ve become staples at their runway shows. Next step is for Public School to have some of the ball players rip the runway.
