As Kobe takes his final victory lap through the NBA, Nike is bidding farewell to Black Mamba with a stylish tribute. The sneaker giant is set to release the “Fade to Black” Collection, coming off the heels of its wildly popular Prelude Collection, which served as an prerequisite to the highly anticipated “Fade to Black.”
The offering will include all of Kobe’s signature models (1 through 11) with Nike, including the rare Huarache 2K4 model. The historic, career-walk collection will feature a tonal color-blocking theme, starting with a white dominated colorway and will gradually fade to all black with the Kobe 11 Elite Low, with each silhouette being the canvas.
According to Instagram account kb824 (the official source of Kobe sneaker news), the collection will begin rolling out in select locations in mid March and traverse through April with a retail of $200 each.
