Air Jordan and Public School are back at it. The two brands have collaborated in the past on limited edition Jordan I’s and X’s. While they haven’t totally removed footwear from their scope, they have finally set their sights on apparel.
The winter collection sticks with dark hues, strictly blacks and grays. It will feature a three-buttoned anorak puffer coat, shorts and ¾ leggings combo, a crew neck, zip-up hoodie, and trapunto sweatpants which feature “PSNY” along the side-seam. Prices have yet to be released as well.
Sticking to the roots of their relationship, they will also release a new colorway for the Air Jordan XII, and debut a new style dubbed the “Horizon”, a hybrid model bearing a resemblance to the Future’s and XIII’s. The former will retail for $300, and the latter for $225. Both released Saturday, December 12th at limited locations, and on Nike.com.
We attended the launch event this past Thursday at Terminal 23 in NYC. The collection was debuted with a full presentation featuring models showcasing their basketball handles while wearing PSNY x Jordan gear.
