American professional golfer Daniel Berger, 23, is ready to don the Crocodile this year. He has officially been named a LACOSTE Ambassador and will sport the golf product line on and off the course.
Berger feels humbled to join such a well-known clothing brand. “I am honored to represent LACOSTE and be part of a truly iconic brand within sports,” he said. “LACOSTE’s golf product line combines a classic style with superior performance and is the perfect fit for what I am looking for in an apparel partner.”
The young talent is excited to join the ranks among other golf champions from around the world. “The Company has such a strong heritage in golf, and it’s commitment to growth, as demonstrated by its partnership with the Presidents Cup, makes this an exciting time to join the LACOSTE team and wear the Crocodile, said Berger.
In 2013, Berger turned professional and since then he’s been a rising star. He was named 2014–2015 PGA TOUR Rookie of the Year and claimed his first title at the 2016 FedEx St. Jude Classic.
According to LACOSTE Group CEO Thierry Guibert, Berger represents everything LACOSTE is all about. “We are proud to welcome Daniel Berger to the LACOSTE team,” he said. “He embodies perfectly the Crocodile brand’s values of relaxed elegance and joie de vivre.”
