Prior to leading his team against the Miami Heat in a preseason matchup, Rockets Shooting Guard James Harden discovered a fan, Astros Shortstop Carlos Correa. Harden and Correa, both eligible for the title of “Houston’s finest”, took to Instagram and Twitter, respectively, to share love for their team’s abode with #HTown.
Harden was wearing an LFANT (pronounced ele-ph-ant) “Africa Day” crewneck. The sweatshirt, which goes for $160, is hand-sewn and hand-dyed, like all LFANT products, in New York City, where the company was founded in 2004.
Harden left the game early in the fourth quarter, and the Rockets would go on to lose 105-100. Though they lost the game, at least one Rocket successfully made contact with an Astro.
