Russell Westbrook can now add eyewear designer to his resume.
The NBA All-star/self-proclaimed ‘Fashion King’ officially launched his first brand of eyewear dubbed ‘Westbrook Frames’. The line features a chic array of bold design frames for both men and women.
With the assistance of luxury eyewear brand Selima Optique and DMA United, Russell was able to express his unique taste for fashion and glasses in this project. The debut collection features 10 styles, each available in 4 colorways inspired by Russell’s home state of California. Each style is named after famous Los Angeles neighborhoods including Malibu, Brentwood & Inglewood.
The collection is currently available for purchase on Westbrookframes.com and will retail for $95-$145. A limited-edition collection of 3 styles will be sold exclusively at Barneys NY for $275.
“Eyewear has had a very big influence on my style. Like a pocket square is to a suit; that is how I see eyewear as part of my outfit. I am inspired by color, and like to use eyewear to bring color into my outfits” – Russell Westbrook
