Under Armour is giving popular brand Nike a run for their money with the unveiling of their new marketing campaign.
This campaign features recent NBA champion and All Star Steph Curry, golfer Jordan Speith and ballerina Misty Copeland. The spot called “Anthem” shows multiples of each of the aforementioned athletes (And yes, Misty is an athlete in her own right), doing their daily training. Curry dribbles a basketball with the same intensity he had during the recent NBA finals. Misty looks graceful as she does her ballerina moves and Jordan shows why he won 2015’s golf Masters. The spot closes with the tagline “Rule Yourself”, but not before “You are the sum of all your training” appears on the screen. Very clever, Under Armour®. We get it.
