New York Giants standout receiver Victor Cruz stars in Kith x Ones Stroke 2014 Fall ‘Genesis’ collection new lookbook.
The collection definitely turns heads with its unique influence of military-esque patterns. Made from the finest Japanese fabrics, the collaboration features a combination of casual wear intertwined with street style. New York-based Kith, is well known for their collabs with other prestigious brands.
This time around, Kith has teamed-up with Japanese brand Ones Stroke–a menswear line producing spring and summer apparel intertwined with craftsmanship, enthusiasm, and refinement, resulting in an effortless style. Both companies, who I might argue are the perfect fit for each other, have the collection containing a variety of both high and low aesthetics like pairing camouflage twill pants with blazers, Aoyama pants with a washed denim long-sleeve, and a reversible robe with distressed jeans.
Within the collection lookbook, Cruz models(prior to his injury) looks from sweats to ponchos. While the line has nice pieces, I have never been a fan of the bucket hat and poncho combo. Being a salsa dancer I love Cruz and his salsa moves, however this line doesn’t catch my eye. I’m digging the camo vibes as well, but I rather pair it with a white shirt and some combat boots rather than a sweatshirt and blazer. However, if you’re looking for your next exclusive statement piece, peep the Kith x Ones Stroke 2014 collection.
