Swiss manufacture Victorinox celebrated its 130 anniversary with the debut of its latest timepiece–Meet the I.N.O.X, a sporty product that echoes the unique values of the brand’s classic Swiss Army Knife: authentic, robust, and reliable in all conditions.
I.N.O.X was constructed to be durable; and ready for war. It has been tested to the limits by the 130-year old Swiss company. It can withstand a 10-meter drop onto a concrete surface, have a 64-ton tank drive over it, and resists two hours in a washing machine as well as a sandstorm. It can resist variations in temperature too. Very impressive don’t you think?
I.N.O.X pays respect to Victorinox history. Its name (French) honors an early 20th century invention which was responsible for much of the development and success of the classic Swiss Army Knife: stainless steel.
Other than its surreal strength, style is one of the I.N.O.X biggest characteristics. It has a super-sleek aesthetic, perfect complement to the wardrobe of a sartorial gentleman. The watch has major versatility as well; you can sport it with a classic two-button/double-breasted suit, or casually with a pair of your favorite jeans and simple t-shirt. Either way your timepiece will be the topic of discussion wherever you go.
“The dial is a single sealed piece. Indexes are not applied in the usual manner but stamped. The axis and the attachment of the hands are reinforced. The horns are protected against warping and solidified by a crossbar. The crown, too, is protected, as is the crystal by the slightly elevated bezel. And it comes with an original “bumper”—a removable protector composed of silicone and nylon that matches perfectly with the crown, the case and the back, without disturbing legibility. Useful and functional, the protector gives the INOX its unique look.”
I.N.O.X also comes with a functional solid steal case—designed to withstand unusual vibrations, shock and temperature changes. This case has been stamped and machined in metal, creating a strong protective envelope.
