Off the ice, onto the runway! Wayne Gretzky is not only an NHL legend (perhaps the greatest hockey player ever), but also officially a fashion designer.
Last Thursday the G.O.A.T debuted the No.99 Wayne Gretzky Collection at Toronto’s World MasterCard Fashion Week.
While Gretzky surely stood out from the rest on the ice, he admits that he is “not as flashy as some other professional athletes might be,” though that doesn’t mean his clothing won’t be “stylish”. His models wore button downs and polos, half-zip sweaters, braided belts, and blazers (with lots of neutral hues).
Aside from striving for comfortability, the collection also strives for affordability. The collection, which was co-created with Sears Canada, is available on their website.
