Looks From 2012 Espy Awards

The 2012 Espy Awards took place last night in Los Angeles,CA.The event was excellent this year, it was full of inspirational stories and also very humorous, Rob Riggle did a good job as the host.My favorite part of the Espys was the fashion of course, check out some stylish looks of the evening from your favorite athletes.

Knicks star Jeremy Lin looked lintastic in his dapper attire, as he added a splash of preppy(plaid bow-tie) to formal wear, accessories were on-point for the night.Congratulations Jeremy for winning the “Breakthrough Athlete” award, Linsanity continues!!

Demaryius Thomas(Denver Broncos) cleaned up nice in a 3-piece custom he completed with black necktie and button-up combo.

Desean Jackson(Philadelphia Eagles) sported some trendy fashionable eyewear, he combined with white collar shirt, black blazer and white trousers.

Desmond Bishop(Green Bay Packers) donned a contrast lapel tuxedo jacket, with black bottoms and dress shoes, you can’t go wrong with wearing a tuxedo to a formal event.

Tennis star Maria Sharapova and Skier Lindsey Vonn were both stunning in their lengthy gowns.

Jason Pierre Paul experimented with lighter hues in his powder blue double breasted blazer and loafers, white trousers were the perfect complement.

Brian Wilson continues to bring his eccentric style to the ESPYS, arriving with his special guest Sasquatch. At least he wore something a bit more classier this year, the spandex suit last year was outrageous.

New York Kincks sharp shooter J.R. Smith rocked a chic striped double breasted blazer, accessorized with pop red pocket square. I like how J.R. went for a eclectic look dressing down  the blazer with skinny jeans and converse sneakers.Swag!

Mario Manningham(San Francisco 49ers ) brought personality to a solid 3-piece suit by balancing it with gingham shirt and golden necktie. Patterns and solids go together like white on rice.

Matt Kemp’s(L.A. Dodgers)  ensemble was nothing less than  flawless, suit was well tailored and  necktie had the perfect dimple.

Michael Robinson(seattle seahawks) was all smiles in a smooth custom fit, I’m digging those suede blue loafers.

Rajon Rondo looked G.Q. worthy in his debonair 3-piece suit , paired with stripe skinny tie.My only beef were the sunglasses,he should of went with aviator shades or wayfarer, it would of been a better counterpart.

Ramses Barden(N.Y. Giants) went sans the blazer and assembled a sweet cardigan combo.Cardigans are such a versatile piece, everyman should have a couple in their closet.

The newest member of the L.A. Lakers Steve Nash looked professional as always in traditional black hues.

Takeo Spikes(San diego Chargers) sharpened up in elegant attire.

Thomas Decoud(Atlanta Hawks) went with a Pee Wee Herman inspired look for the Espys.

Victor Cruz(N.Y. Giants) added flair to a sleek tailored suit, with  a unique print button-up, one of my favorite fits of the evening.

Vernon Davis(San Francisco 49ers) spruced up a burgundy blazer with funky polka dot bow-tie.

I can’t forget Team U.S.A who couldn’t make the the event, but still dressed to impress via satellite.Congrats to NBA champ Lebron James for Winning “Best Male Athlete”
