Looks From 2012 NBA Draft

Written by Jrich in Athletes Fashion on Jun 29th 2012

The 2012 NBA Draft took place last night in New Jersey continental center. I watched up until the Knicks pick in the second round  at number 48, so I pretty much saw the whole draft. I thought it was a overall solid draft, with a couple potential superstars and solid role players, congratulations to all draftee and their future NBA careers. Lets take a look at what some of these future stars wore for their big night.

No. 1 overall pick Anthony Davis(New Orleans Hornets) looked quite dapper in his solid suit he blended with a pattern neck-tie, pocket square and collar shirt mix. Davis kept the hues simple but did experiment a little with patterns, giving him some style points.

No. 2 Micheal Kidd-Gilchrist(Charlotte Bobcats) custom suit was well detailed with lapel pins, and tie clip. You can’t go wrong with a black suit.

No. 3 Bradley Beal(Washington Wizards) dressed as a true professional donned in  beige threads, paired with champagne colored tie and neatly folded pocket square.

No.4 Dion Waiters(Cleveland Cavaliers)cleaned up nice in a light gray suit with orange cream-colored combination.

No.5 Thomas Robinson(Sacramento Kings) went with a black 3-piece suit, he brighten up with a pop red necktie.

No.6 Damian Lillard(Portland Trailblazers), one of my favorite looks of the night,Damian showed some flair off the court with his exceptional pattern blazer, completed with black vest and trousers forming an eccentric 3-piece suit. Damien’s rose red pocket square with black trim was vital to this amazing suit,It took his look to another level.I can tell Damian likes to standout from his fashion choice.

No.7 Harrison Barnes(Golden State Warriors) kept his attire basic with traditional hues.

No.8 Terrance Ross(Toronto Raptors) went for a preppy guise wrapped in a funky bow-tie, paired with gingham shirt and pale grey suit.Terrance was the only guy at the draft with a bow-tie on, my dude is setting trends already.

N0.10 Austin Rivers(New Orleans Hornets) enrobed in perfect black and red complements. His solid knit tie, layered perfectly over a crisp gingham shirt allowing the pair to flourish amongst his  black 3-piece threads.

No.11 Meyers Leonard(Portland TrailBlazers) also opted for the trendy gingham shirt, completing his with a strip neck-tie and lustrous suit. Too much traffic with the tie and shirt patterns.

No.12 Jeremy Lamb(Houston Rockets) ensemble was flawless, the colors were subtle and perfectly matched. The black satin neck-tie, and white collar shirt were traditional choices, layered by a sleek grey suit and soft pink pocket square ,which provided a sense of elegance to his classy getup.
