Nike and Adidas aren’t the only brands making functional sweatsuits.
High-end designers are jumping head first into athletic wear, or shall I say Athleisure. The term got so popular, it was officially added to the dictionary, its’s defined as “casual clothing designed to be worn both for exercising and for general use.”
Athletes have been drawn to the trend as well, there not solely wearing sweatsuits from sports brands anymore. Phoenix Suns guard Eric Bledsoe shared a recent photo on his Instagram account wearing a Thome Browne striped sweatsuit that retails for a total of $1,080 (Hoodie $590, Pants $490.) The look features a neat slim-fit cut, and signature Thom Browne four stripes design on the left sleeve and pant leg.
