Yesterday we visited Twitter’s headquarters here in NYC to speak to luxury sportswear designer Don C.
Don C is well-known in streetwear and sneaker culture for his line “Just Don” apparel and Jordan Brand Collaborations.
The Chicago native was in New York to preview his apparel collaboration with fast-food chain Wendy’s. This is Wendy’s first-ever streetwear fashion collaboration.
The limited edition collection is inspired by the cultural connection between basketball and fashion, as well as the prominent NCAA March Madness tournament.
The five-piece set features a revamped Wendy’s “W” and “Fresh Since Day One” stitched and embroidered on pinstripe jerseys, hoodies, t-shirts, and hats.
Wendy’s, the official Hamburger of the NCAA Tournament, is all about serving fresh beef, never frozen. Bringing their values of staying fresh, through fashion, is the perfect embodiment.
Don C’s collaboration with Wendy’s won’t be available in retail stores. Fans will be able to win items from this exclusive collection through giveaways on social media, local stops at regional tournaments and during the Final Four weekend in San Antonio.
