Unlike his peers NBA star Andre Iguodala elected to miss out on this years ESPY Awards and hang out in the Big Apple to attend mens fashion week.
Andre, who is slowly becoming a staple on the men’s fashion scene, was spied sitting front row at a slew of shows throughout men’s week.
We briefly spoke with Andre at L.A. based brand Stampd’s presentation where he was observing the collection with a friend. The NYC summer climate didn’t stop Andre from donning a sharp custom suit, and To Boot New York footwear, a brand he smiled about as he described his shoes to us.
Iguodala wasn’t at fashion week just for show, he’s serious about branding himself in the industry. Andre is getting more involved in the business side of fashion, during a recent interview with Robin Givan of the Washington Post Andre discussed launching a big-and-tall men’s ecommerce site called Good Counsel and a upcoming tech inspired collaboration with Rochambeau this fall.
