Montreal Canadiens defenseman P.K. Subbban is well-involved with the design process of his custom wardrobe. The NHL star recently had a custom suit and coat made for the 2016 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic. If you’re not too familiar with the classic, it’s an annual outdoor game held by the NHL to bring in the New Year
The bespoke coat was handcrafted exclusively for PK by Maison Elama Atelier in Montreal. The real mink and cashmere fur overcoat took more than 150 hours to complete. The suit, hat, and shoes were designed and created by Sartorialto in Montreal.
P.K. shared behind-the-scenes experience designing his bold look for the NHL Winter Classic. The segment was featured in episode 1 of “Road to the NHL Winter Classic,” a four-part series chronicling the Bruins and Canadiens as they prepared for the event.
