Steve Nash and Dirk Nowitzki reunited…on the soccer field.
NBA veteran Steve Nash held his 7th annual celebrity soccer game Wednesday evening at Sara D. Roosevelt Park here in NYC. The ‘Showdown’ benefited the Steve Nash Foundation-assisting undeserved children in their health, personal development, education, and enjoyment of life.
The event brought out a slew of star athletes including Kyrie Irving, Dirk Nowitzki, Wilson Chandler, and Mike Dunleavy Jr., just to name a few. Proceeds from the 2014 Showdown game assisted Educare, child abuse research and prevention.
