This past Saturday, the NFL held their 3rd annual NFL Honors ceremony at Radio City Hall in New York City. The star-studded event saluted the best players, and plays from the 2013 NFL season.
The league’s best arrived in style, as they graced the red carpet clothed in fashionable suits and tuxedos. MTS has curated a list of the best-dressed NFL players from the evening. Check them out below.
Colin Kaepernick(San Francisco 49ers) has stepped his style up, just like his football game. I’m loving the looks I’ve seen him donning for recent events over Super Bowl week. The turtleneck look is making a strong comeback, pairing it with a suit made a superb combo, great job Colin.
“Classy” was the first word that came to mind when I saw Adrian Peterson’s(Minnesota Vikings) ensemble. Accessorizing his tuxedo with a silk scarf made a nice finishing touch to a flawless look.
Brandon Marshall(Chicago Bears) has been one of my favorite athletes to follow on Instagram because of his impeccable sense of style. For the NFL Honors, the fashion-forward athlete elected for a custom velvet suit by Angel Bespoke. Going sans the necktie was a nice move, it allowed Brandon’s sleek velvet threads to standout.
Wearing a gingham blazer can be complex, but if done right, it can be the missing piece to a flawless look. Check out how Eddie lacy(Green Bay Packers) wore his for the NFL Honors.. he did his thing!
Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton looked dashing dressed in all black.
Big guys have style too! Sheldon Richardson(NY Jets) was a perfect example in his custom plum-colored tuxedo.
Victor Cruz killed it, draped in Lanvin from head-to-toe. Victor wore a two-button glen-paid suit from Lanvin Spring 2014 collection. Styled by Thomas Faison
