Andrew Wiggins stole the show at the 2014 NBA Draft with his flamboyant choice of attire for the evening. The future NBA star wore a sharp slim-fit tuxedo (by Waraire Boswell) which easily killed the competition. Andrew’s shawl collar jacket featured an unique floral print design that immediately caused a media frenzy. He single-handedly transformed this years draft into a fashion show when he was announced as the 1st overall selection.
Can we make an argument that Wiggins was the best dressed #1 pick ever? History proves it–when we look back at past #1 selection ensembles over the years, we’ve seen these guys sport some of the most hideous suits.
Do you recall Lebron James’ Big & Tall white four-button suit? Blake Griffin’s displeasing black and purple color combination? Dwight Howard’s baggy threads with the awful lapels? or let’s take it wayyyy back…Shaq’s super-loose double breasted suit he wore to the ’92 Draft. We’ve definitely come a long way.
