Quarterback assassin, physical dominator, and fashion guru, better known as Von Miller, took us back to a simpler time with this latest shoot and collection with Carhartt.
The defensive mastermind escorted us to an America where family values are paramount and survival is reliant upon your use of nature’s resources. Although no stranger to the glitz and glamour of the league, Miller is a country boy on the inside, hailing from Dallas, TX. Not one to shy away from his Texan roots, his 38-acre Dallas estate features a chicken farm. This renaissance man is definitely putting the Poultry Sciences (a real thing) degree he acquired from Texas A&M to use. A man of practicality and the utilitarian side of fashion, it makes sense that he has also been working as the Co-Creative Director for the Carhartt brand. When asked about their relationship, CD Brian Bennet stated “We have a lot of stuff in common in terms of what our brand stands for, what Von stands for. Von’s really big on family. We’re a fifth-generation, family-owned company. It was kind of a good fit.” Miller’s natural need for durable clothing and his eclectic ability to express himself on and off the field makes this a match made in heaven.
We’ve seen the rise of relaxed fits, canvas textiles, and the always on-trend use of camo and khaki patterns from brands like Carhartt, YEEZY, Union LA, and Dickies which makes this collection timely and perfect for a wide array of consumers. Find some gems in their latest collection whether you’re a hen-raisin’ farm boy or a streetwear savvy city slicker.

I grew up a blue-collar kid in Texas and have worn Carhartt ever since I saw my dad wearing it to work. Now I’m working at @carhartt as a creative director. Honored to help them tell stories that pay respect to the many hard working people who inspire me daily. Excited to show the work we made this week @carhartt in collaboration with @whereyabennett @prideofgypsies @victoriawill
